Your Admissions Checklist

 

Admissions Application Deadline

Class of 2031 Admissions Application Deadline:

December 11, 2026 by 11:59 PM

Step 1: Fill out our Inquiry Form

To begin the application process, you’ll need to fill out our Inquiry Form. Once you submit your inquiry, please allow 24-48 businhours for your inquiry to be processed. You will then receive an invitation to sign into your Blackbaud account. 

Having trouble logging into Blackbaud?

  • If you haven’t received login instructions:
    • First, check your spam/junk folder for the confirmation email.
    • If you don’t find it, reach out to portalhelp@setonhs.org for assistance.
  • If you already have a current Seton student, log in to your existing account, select “Children” in the upper left corner, and then choose the student applying.
Step 2: Log Back Into Your Account

Once you log back into your account, you will have access to:

  • Register for events and visits
  • Submit your admissions application
  • Upload required documents
  • Request recommendations
  • Helpful links and resources
Step 3: Review Your Checklist and Deadlines

Parents/guardians are responsible for requesting and submitting school records. Please upload official files (PDF or PNG formats preferred). Screenshots cannot be accepted.

 

Checklist for ADW Students (8th Grade)

  • Seton admissions application + $50 non-refundable fee
  • English recommendation (submitted via Blackbaud)
  • Math recommendation (submitted through Blackbaud)
  • High School Placement Test (HSPT)

 

Checklist for Private, Non-ADW, and Public School Students (8th Grade)

  • Seton admissions application + $50 non-refundable fee
  • 8th grade transcript (Q1 or Trimester 1)
  • Final 7th grade transcript
  • Attendance & discipline record
  • Most recent standaridized testing (examples include: Scantron, PARCC, Terranova, MAP, PSAT, etc)
  • English recommendation
  • Math recommendation
  • High School Placement Test (HSPT) Register here

 

Checklist for Homeschool Students (8th Grade)

  • Seton admissions application + $50 non-refundable fee
  • 8th Grade Transcript & Portfolio (Q1 or Trimester 1)
  • Final 7th grade transcript
  • Attendance & discipline record (if available)
  • Latest standardized testing (if taken)
  • English Recommendation*
  • Math Recommendation*
  • Interview (scheduled by the Admissions team)
  • High School Placement Test (HSPT) Register here
  • Homeschool Enrollment Verification Letter from the Umbrella Program

*Note on Recommendations: We understand that many homeschooled students are a part of a larger homeschool network or community.  We ask that an instructor within the community writes the recommendation letter, rather than a parent.  In cases where there is no instructor, we will accept recommendations from a community leader such as, but not limited to: a pastor or minister, a coach, Girl Scout or Boy Scout troop leader, etc.

 

Checklist for Transfer Students (Current 9th-11th Grade)

  • Seton admissions application + $50 non-refundable fee
  • Current Transcript
  • Final transcript from previous grade
  • Attendance & discipline record
  • Most recent standaridized testing (examples include: Scantron, PARCC, Terranova, MAP, PSAT, etc)
  • English recommendation
  • Math recommendation
  • Interview (scheduled by the Admissions team)
Step 4: Register for the HSPT

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is administered by the Archdiocese of Washington on designated dates at local high schools. Please visit their website for registration details and FAQs.

Important: If your student does not attend an ADW Catholic middle school, you must register independently for the HSPT.

Step 5: Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships

Families seeking financial aid or scholarships must complete the necessary applications and submit documents by the stated deadlines.

Step 6: Review Your Checklist
Log into your Blackbaud account to confirm that all application requirements are marked as complete. Please note that incomplete applications cannot be reviewed, and decisions will not be issued until all materials are received.
Decision Notifications

Admissions decisions will be posted in Blackbaud.
